Erik Maloy became our newest pastor on July 5, 2015. He grew up in Columbia, SC, and became a Christian at the age of 13. He is a graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies. Erik teaches Engineering and Math at Everett High School, and is a submarine veteran of the US Navy. Erik has previously served as a youth pastor, young adult pastor and was the lead and founding pastor of Solid Rock Fellowship in Kelso, WA.
Erik is a huge Star Wars and sports fan. He looks forward to watching the Sox, Patriots, Celtics and is trying to understand hockey so he can better enjoy Bruins games. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading and watching movies.
Community Group and Discipleship Director
Sam leads our Community Group and Discipleship ministry, and leads the community group Bible study on Wednesdays. He is originally from Chelsea, MA, Sam’s parents were Christians when he was born and have instructed him in the faith all of his life; however, it wasn’t until about two years ago that Sam genuinely developed a relationship with Christ. He is studying finance at North Shore Community College in Danvers.
Administrative Assistant and Women's Ministry Director
Sarah became a Christian at the age 13 and was very involved with her youth group. While in high school, she went on her first mission trip and it was then she realized she loved sharing Jesus with others. After she married Erik, they were involved in the college and career ministry at their church and Sarah loved working with young adults and mentoring the young women. Sarah handles our administrative duties and leads the women's ministry.
Sarah loves spending time with her best friend and husband, Erik and their two children, Casey, age 16 and Kayla, age 15. They love cooking together, watching movies and going to the beach.
Michael Webb leads corporate worship in music at First Church. He began his serving as worship director in February 2016. Michael currently attends Gordon College in Wenham, MA, where he will graduate in 2019 with an undergraduate degree in Music Education. Michael has previously served at New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene in Loudon, NH and also at services held at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Kaylie Nighorn joined the FCC worship team in September of 2015, and became KidsTown director in January 2018. She is currently an undergraduate student at Gordon College, studying music education and working towards her licensure to teach music in the state of Massachusetts. Before FCC, she served on the children's ministries of New Hope Chapel in Norwell, and of Grace Church in Avon.
