rev. Erik Maloy
Erik Maloy became our newest pastor on July 5, 2015. He grew up in Columbia, SC, and became a Christian at the age of 13. He is a graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies, and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has previously taught high school Engineering, Math and History, and is a submarine veteran of the US Navy. Before coming to FCC, Erik served as a youth pastor, young adult pastor and as a church planter / lead pastor.
Erik is a huge Star Wars and sports fan. He looks forward to watching the Sox, Patriots, Celtics and is trying to understand hockey so he can better enjoy Bruins games. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading and watching movies.
Samuel "sam" Jimenez
Sam leads our Community Group and Discipleship ministry and our Student Ministry. He is originally from Chelsea, MA, Sam’s parents were Christians when he was born and have instructed him in the faith all of his life; however, it wasn’t until several years ago that Sam genuinely developed a relationship with Christ. He is studying finance at North Shore Community College in Danvers.
Sam is married to Molly, who he met at First Church, and is the co-host of the Practical Church Revitalization Podcast.
KidsTown Director and Administrative Assistant
Sarah became a Christian at the age 13 and was very involved with her youth group. While in high school, she went on her first mission trip and it was then she realized she loved sharing Jesus with others. After she married Erik, they were involved in the college and career ministry at their church and Sarah loved working with young adults and mentoring the young women. Sarah is passionate about sharing Jesus with women and children. Sarah handles our administrative duties and leads the women's ministry.
Sarah has a Bachelor’s in Psychology: Family Studies and is currently finishing her Master’s in Education:School Counseling. Sarah loves spending time with her best friend and husband,Erik and their two children, Casey, age 17 and Kayla, age 16. They love cooking together, watching movies and traveling.
Michael "Mike" Webb
Music and Creative Arts Director
Michael Webb leads corporate worship in music at First Church. He began his serving as worship director in February 2016. Michael is a graduate of Gordon College and is a Music Teacher at South Shore Christian Academy. Michael has previously served at New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene in Loudon, NH and also at services held at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
